PeeWee HL, 2014-2015 (Bluewater Hawks Girls Hockey)

The Hawks earned silver in the worlds largest female hockey tournament. After winning all 3 round robin games we faced the Almaguin Gazelles in the Semi Finals. it was a tight game with both teams wanting the win but through hard work and determination Bluewater came out on top 1-0. The finals saw a match up between Bluewater and the Smith Falls Cubs....... 

After finishing first in the playoff round robin. The girls found themselves facing a very tough Zorra team in the finals. Game ​1 of the 3 game series was held at the west Middlesex arena in Strathroy. The Hawks played a great game and won 2-0. Game 2 was held last night in Thamesford. 

The Hawks battled hard in what was said to be the toughest of the 4 pools. Through sheer grit, determination and hard work the Hawks found themselves a Perfect 3-0-0 after the round robin. This earned them the right to play the only other perfect team, The Flamborough Falcons in the semi-finals.  

Good luck to the PeeWee HL team this weekend as they do battle in the 34th annual Walter Gretzky Tournament!!! Go Hawks Go!!! 

  A BIG CONGRATULATIONS goes out the 2015 Pink On The Rink PeeWee HL Champions! The girls battled hard all weekend! Saturday they squared off twice against the 11-0-1 Kincardine Kinucks, a team that has only given up 4 goals the whole season!! The Girls managed to light the lamp 9 times in 2 Games and handed the Kinucks there first two losses of the season!(we had 6 different goal scorers!!)
