Bluewater Hawks PeeWee HL Win Silver!!!
The Hawks earned silver in the worlds largest female hockey tournament.
After winning all 3 round robin games we faced the Almaguin Gazelles in the Semi Finals. it was a tight game with both teams wanting the win but through hard work and determination Bluewater came out on top 1-0. The finals saw a match up between Bluewater and the Smith Falls Cubs.......
The girls played great and opened the scoring. But the larger, more physical Cubs started to take over in the second. They netted two quick goals and took the lead 2-1. they eventually added 1 more and an empty netter to finish the game 4-1. The Bluewater girls played amazing. They overcame many hurdles including, short players,
Poor game times and 5 games in 3 days! I am extremely proud of how the girls played and handled themselves. This tournament was the icing on what has been an amazing season!
