Midget AA, 2012-2013 (Bluewater Hawks Girls Hockey)

The Midget AA Hawks had a great weekend at the Provincials. The Hawks took first place in the round robin in their division. The Hawks played tough against Markham-Stouville in the elimination round, winning 2-0. The Hawks then faced a very strong North Bay Team and came up short in the 1/4 Finals. The Hawks battled hard but came up short, losing 4-1.  Good luck to all Hawks going forward and a Sprecial Thanks to our Graduating Members. Hawks for Life. 

The Bluewater Hawks Midget AA had another great Tournament weekend going 5 straight to take home the gold.     The Hawks were hit hard by the injury bug this weekend, having to play the Gold Medal Game 5 players short. The girls dug deep and pulled out the victory.     Great work HAWKS!!!!!!

The Hawks found themselves in tough in the round robin with 3 of the top 4 teams in the same pool. The Hawks finished with a 1-1-1 record relagating them to Pool B.     The Hawks dominated Pool B with 3 straight victories to take the Gold. Great work again Hawks.

    The Bluewater Hawks Midget AA flexed their muscle this weekend with a very strong performance in Hocktoberfest.    The Hawks went undefeated this weekend to take home the Gold against Brantford on Sunday afternoon.     Great Weekend HAWKS!!!!!

    The Bluewater Hawks Midget AA had a very strong showing in their first tournament of the year, the Stoney Creek Showcase Tournament. The Hawks secured second place in the round robin, propelling them into the A division playoffs. The Hawks beat Mississauga to advance to the 1/4 Finals. The Hawks played a strong game against the St Mary's Flames of Manitoba only to fall 2-0 after a couple of scramble goals. The game was hard fought and it was a fairly even bout throughout.     Great work Hawks. We showed we are a team to be contended with this year. GO HAWKS!!!!!!
