Stoney Creek Showcase Tournament
The Bluewater Hawks Midget AA had a very strong showing in their first tournament of the year, the Stoney Creek Showcase Tournament. The Hawks secured second place in the round robin, propelling them into the A division playoffs. The Hawks beat Mississauga to advance to the 1/4 Finals. The Hawks played a strong game against the St Mary's Flames of Manitoba only to fall 2-0 after a couple of scramble goals. The game was hard fought and it was a fairly even bout throughout.
Great work Hawks. We showed we are a team to be contended with this year.
