CONGRATULATIONS HAWKS!!! That was a fantastic Effort against London.... Keep up the hard work in preparation for Provincials

Well the season is upon us after a 2 month learning curve. We have had our ups and downs thats for sure. I look back at the stats for the team at this time and I am perplexed as our record at this point is not indicative of how the girls have played.

Trying times are upon us. As I write this update on the Home page for all to see I can tell you all that we are in a bit of a bind for the next few days. I worked hard to fill the calendar for the girls as it is always important to see some of the successes that are achieved through the hard work at practice by the girls. Well the calendar is full and for those that didn't think there was enough hockey, especially games, we have a full plate for sure. Unfortunately the injure bug has taken hold of the team at this time. We have 3 injuries and 2 with continuing aches and pains. This can make is hard on a team especially early in the season. DON'T FRET! Injuries are usually short lived and the aches and pains have always been a ongoing concern when you play the best game in th world. Focus on the day to day activities that you all have to deal with but once you get to the rink focus on the Team and the challenge that is at hand. remember what it means to wear the Hawk Jersey. We will get through this short period of challenges and we will be the stronger for it.
