Parents, Players, and Families,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, Cody Butler, the Bluewater U9 facilitator. Kyle Cowan, the U9C Head Coach, and I will be running the 2025/2026 Bluewater Hawks U9 Development and formal evaluation/selection sessions.

There will be 4 Development sessions followed by 3 formal evaluation/selection sessions for all players registered. The times and locations are listed on the website calendar under the U9C team.

Please check and follow the U9C website calendar for dates and times.
The first skate will be on September 3rd at 5:15pm at the Gemini arena. We ask all players to arrive 30 minutes prior to each ice time to get signed in and dressed.

When arriving to the first skate we ask all players to sign in at the table located in the front lobby.
1) Each player will receive a player name tag for the front of their helmet.
2) Please bring your own practice jersey and water bottle.
3) Players who played within another OWHA organization last season will require a signed permission to skate form. Please ensure a paper copy is handed in before the player’s first skate.
4) During the formal evaluation/selection sessions pinnies will be assigned to wear over a jersey.
We look forward to getting our U9 season underway with all the new and returning players to Bluewater.

If you have any questions feel free to email myself at [email protected] or by cell 519-464-2290.

Thanks,
Cody Butler
U9 Facilitator
