U15B, U15 (Bluewater Hawks Girls Hockey)

The U15B Hawks competed in the 46th Orangeville Sweethearts tournament this past weekend. The team finished 2-1 in round robin play and then battled hard to claim the bronze medal in the knockout rounds. The team also won the skills competition for the second year in a row after placing first the goalie shootout and fastest skater relay with a second place finish in the breakaway competition. Coaches are so impressed with the effort, focus and teamwork from this amazing group of players. Way to go Hawks!!

The U15B Hawks had an awesome weekend at the Silverstick International Girls Finals in Sarnia. The team finished 3-1 in round robin play before losing the semi final in a shootout after 5 minutes of 3v3 overtime against the tournament champions Kincardine. The team played some of their best hockey of the season so far. Way to go Hawks!

The U15B Hawks had an amazing weekend at the Pink the Rink Tournament hosted by the Etobicoke Dolphins. The team finished first in round robin play before beating Kanata 3-1 in the semi final and East Ottawa 2-0 in the final. The team improved each game along the way to the Championship. Coaches are extremely proud of the teamwork and effort from this group. Way to go Hawks!!! 

The U15B Hawks kicked off the regular season on the road vs St. Thomas on Saturday. The Hawks made a contribution to the Panthers charity drive and then managed a hard fought 1-0 win. Way to go Hawks!
