The U11B Bluewater Hawks put on an outstanding performance this past weekend at the 34th annual London Devilettes Tournament. Their hard work, determination, and strong team play were on full display as they battled against top competition
The Hawks dominated round-robin play, finishing 3-0 with victories over the Lucan Irish (3-2), Flamborough Falcons (3-1), and Owen Sound Ice Hawks (5-1), securing first place in their pool. Their success was fueled by stellar goaltending, solid defensive play, and relentless effort from every player on the ice.
In the quarter-finals, the Hawks faced the Stratford Aces in a thrilling, back-and-forth matchup. Despite a tremendous effort and a hard-fought battle, they came up just short in a 2-1 loss.
The team should be proud of their performance, showcasing skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the tournament. Congratulations, Hawks!
