JR BADGERS GOLD
Our U11A Hawks traveled to compete in the Brock Jr Badgers Tournament. Over a long 3 days our Hawks returned home with Gold.
After a tough 1-0 loss early Friday morning to a tough Ancaster team, the Hawks beat the home Jr Badgers 4-1 and finished the round robin portion of the tournament with a 2-2 tie vs the Haldimand Rivercats. With that tie the Hawks received a bye into the semi finals. With the bye that gave the Hawks plenty of team bonding time on Clifton Hill.
Going into Sunday's semi final the girls were definitely motivated and a tight 2-1 win over the Durham West Lightning the Hawks got a rematch with the Rivercats.
In the finals the Hawks came out FLYING to secure a 3-0 win.
