Woodstock Wildcats January 3rd-5th 2020 A new year brings new challenges to the Bluewater Hawks Midget C team, the first of which will be their last tournament of the year in Woodstock.

With playdowns and playoffs right around the corner, the Hawks are looking to see good results this weekend. With an overall record of 7-7-4 so far this season, the last few games have been especially exciting, with the most recent being a 4-2 win at home against B.A.D. The three games before were against some of the top teams in WOGHL and included a win, lose and tie, with the loss against Lucan (currently in 1st position in the league) being a tight game ending with a score of 2-1. The Midget C team is preparing for an exciting three games in the round robin. First, facing off against a familiar opponent in the Sarnia Lady Sting, a team the Hawks have been undefeated against. The second game will be a matchup against the Mount Forest Rams, who hold a record of 4-8-1 for the season. The final game of the round robin will also be against an unknown opponent, the TCDMHA Rebels, who tied Sarnia earlier in the season.Heading into the weekend, the Hawks are hoping to make a big impact and get some more wins with the postseason beginning in a few weeks time.
