Hi! I’d like to introduce myself, Jess Worton.
I am the coach of the Bluewater Hawks U18A team for the
2023/2024 season. I have spent the last two seasons assisting on the bench with
U15A and U15AA, achieving a spot in Provincials both seasons. I also played for
Bluewater Hawks at the AA level.
Being part of the Bluewater Hawks organization
holds a special place in my heart. I am looking to build a strong U18A team
while developing players to reach higher goals.
I am extremely happy to
announce that Amy Duffield (former PWHL player and U18AA coach) and Abby
Dortmans (former Bluewater PWHL player
and U18A coach) will be assisting with the team. Together, we aim for the top.

Abby Dortmans -Assistant Coach
Abby played AA hockey for Bluewater, starting at Atom. She worked her way to the top, playing two years in the PWHL with Bluewater. Abby then moved on to play in the OUA for the University of Waterloo. In the 2022/2023 season, Abby helped coach the Bluewater U18 A team to GOLD at Provincials!
Amy Duffield - Assistant Coach
Amy played London AA since U13 and continued on to play two years in the PWHL. Her career lead her to play out east in the CIS for St. Thomas University where they hosted Nationals and she completed her five years. Hockey has been a passion of Amy’s which lead her to take great pride in becoming a coach. Over the last 5 years, Amy coached U11A, U15A and U18AA in London. In the 2022/2023 season, she helped to coach the Bluewater U18A team to GOLD at the Provincial Championships!
