Meghan Baron- Coach
Meghan is born and raised in Petrolia.  Meghan was the assistant coach last season with the Bluewater U11 A team (the team won the U11 A Silverstick and a spot at provincials).  Her previous coaching experiences with Lambton Attack Girls Hockey and Petrolia Minor Hockey lead to her receiving the coach of the year award.  Meghan has many years of experience playing at different levels as well as coaching at different levels.   In Meghan’s last year of Jr hockey with Bluewater her team won provincials.  After Meghan finished her Jr hockey career, she went on to play Division 1 hockey at Clarkson University.    Three years ago, Meghan’s hockey team (Chatham Outlaws 01-02 Bantam AA), was inducted into the Chatham Sports Hall of Fame

Scott Jones- Associate Coach
Scott has been teaching hockey development for over twenty years and he still continues to grow his teaching methods and techniques.  Through clear communication and positive reinforcement, Scott has a history of assisting players on all of their skating and puck skills as well as creating a clearer picture of in game situations.  Scott spent 3 years with the Washington Capitals where most of the time he worked among the AHL prospects with the Hershey Bears. In March of 2017 Scott faced a very difficult but exciting decision when he made the move to the Vegas Golden Knights. The thought of starting with an association at the ground level and being part of an inaugural season was very intriguing and proved to be a great move.  Currently Scott oversees Skating and Skill Development with the Golden Knights and spends time working with the prospects playing in the AHL, CHL and NCAA. He is also responsible for all on ice components of the Development Camp, which takes place in Vegas every June and plays a large roll in the rookie and main camps in September as well. Another feather in Scott’s cap is the role he accepted in 2017 as the Director of Skill and Player Development with the hometown Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League.  In this role he is in charge of all on ice skill development with the players both in small group settings as well as during or after practices. One of the best qualities of Scott is his passion for the game and seeing each individual player improve and succeed. It doesn’t matter if the player is in the NHL, or just learning to skate, he shows the same time and effort while assisting them on reaching their goals.
