Good Morning:
Below you will find your players skate
times. When you arrive at the arena there will be pinnies assigned to your
players. We will be doing to small sessions so that the evaluators can have a
good look at all players.
This will be posted on the team page as
well.
Here is what we will be looking for during the process so that you can discuss with your players.
- Hockey sense
- Ability
- Communication on the ice
- What players do on the ice during down time
I would like everyone to know we have watched the girls that were at the AA tryouts and am very excited to have such a talent pool to choose from.
Since our schedule is compact we will start releasing players after the second skate, then again after the third skate. The final releases will be made after our exhibition game Tuesday against the Lambton Attack.
Also remind your players to have fun enjoy meeting new people and potential team mates. The Ice is a time to get away from outside distractions and work on a game that they love.
There will be tough decisions made by the evaluators and coaches, every player should learn form the experience both good and bad.
