Home Town Hockey Weekend
Good Evening Everyone,
Home town hockey weekend is almost here. Below you will find the breakdown and details regarding our schedule this busy weekend.
There will be shuttles for pick up and drop off's they will be from the Gemini Area Parking lot and Walmart Parking lot.
Saturday November 2nd the shuttles will run from 12:00pm-7:00pm
Sunday November 3rd the shuttles will run from 12:00-10:00pm
The shuttles will run every half hour. On Saturday they will run at :00 and :30 and on Sunday they will run :15 and :45.
Tomorrow the girls road hockey game will take place at 12:00pm down town Strathroy. Please prepare to be there by 11:30am this will allow time for us to register the team and sign all appropriate forms for the girls to be able to participate. Seeing as the shuttles wont be running in time for use to utilize them prior to their road hockey game, I'm thinking the best option would be to park at either Alexandra Park or the Kenwick Mall.. Wear your runners, we will be doing lots of walking :)
The girls then have their game at the Gemini at 2:45pm, please be there an hour early as usual. After the game, you can head on back downtown to enjoy some festivities if you would like. There will be lots to do.
Sunday, please have the girls in St.Marys an hour before their 3:15pm game. After the game we will all have to boogie on back to Strathroy to participate in the "Parade of Champions" for home town hockey.
Reminder: Food Drive has been postponed temporarily due to such a busy weekend.
We are looking forward to a fun filled weekend with our hockey family and friends! Its going to be a great time!
